The Role

This is a full-time on-site role as an Event Production Assistant at Neon Agency located in Dublin. As an Event Production Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of events. Your day-to-day tasks will include assisting with venue selection, managing event logistics, coordinating with vendors and suppliers, assisting with event set-up and breakdown, and providing support during the event.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the event planning team to understand client requirements, objectives, and vision for each event.
  • Develop detailed event production plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Source and liaise with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the availability of necessary equipment, decor, and services.
  • Coordinate event logistics, such as venue selection, transportation, accommodations, and catering arrangements.
  • Oversee event setup, ensuring all elements are in place and adhere to the client's specifications.
  • Manage event day operations, supervising event staff, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and obtain all necessary permits for events.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless coordination throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance future events.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience in event planning or production is a plus
  • Ability to lift and carry event equipment and materials
