The Role

The Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible fordeveloping and implementing sales and marketing strategies to increase eventbookings and enhance brand visibility. This role requires a strategic thinkerwith a strong background in sales, marketing, and the events industry. Theideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proven track recordof driving sales growth, and the ability to lead a team.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building a robust pipeline of potential clients.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote events and enhance brand visibility across multiple channels.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape, using insights to inform sales and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the events team to develop promotional plans for individual events, driving attendance and engagement.
  • Monitor and analyse sales and marketing performance metrics, generating reports to assess effectiveness and inform future strategies.
  • Manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and tracking ROI.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Identify and manage partnerships and sponsorship opportunities to enhance event visibility and reach.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the events industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong strategic planning and project management abilities.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., CRM systems, Google Analytics, social media advertising, email marketing software)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative marketing solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Passionate about sales and marketing, staying up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
